Denis Suarez agrees to personal terms with Arsenal

According to a report from news outlet Marca, Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez has agreed on personal terms with Arsenal for a transfer to the North London side.

The Spaniard has been unable to crack the playing XI at Camp Nou and hence, is looking forward to a move to the Premier League this month.

Arsenal, who are likely to lose Aaron Ramsey to Juventus this summer, will want Suarez to come in as a long term replacement for the Welsh international.

However, Barcelona is reportedly adamant on making the deal permanent, whereas The Gunners are inclined towards a loan deal.

Ernesto Valverde, the Barcelona manager, has said that Suarez might still have a future with the La Liga champions.

"Denis can play for us in any match and he is always available," he said in a conversation Diario Sport, as reported by Express.

"The reality is he was with our squad when we went to Getafe on Sunday and he is always competing to be in the squad, so yes he does have a future.

"This is a period of the season when fixtures come thick and fast and we will need to make rotations, I am aware of this and so are the players. Every game now we believe there will be a few changes, between league fixtures and those in the Copa all players available have a chance."

Ramsey set to join Juventus in summer

Aaron Ramsey, whose contract with Arsenal runs out at the end of this season, will join Juventus on a five-year deal, according to the Guardian. The Welshman will reportedly sign a lucrative deal of £140,000 per week with the Italian champions.

This wage bill will make Ramsey the second-highest earner at the Max Allegri-managed club, only behind Christiano Ronaldo.

After an extended negotiation battle, it was Arsenal who reportedly pulled their contract for the 28-year-old, who was their Player of the Season last year.

Emery gives the nod for Yannick Carrasco bid

According to reports from Foot Mercato, Emery has given Arsenal the go-ahead to bid for winger Yannick Carrasco, who currently plays for Dalian Yifang in China.

The 25-year-old is one of Arsenal's prime transfer targets, who is reportedly even willing to take a pay cut to move to the North London side.

Carrasco played for Monaco and Atletico Madrid before making a shock move to China last year.

The winger has not adjusted to life in Asia though and wants to make a return to European football. He might just be the perfect fit for the North London side, who have had a significant dearth of attacking options in wide areas this season.
