Manchester City set to bid in January for Sanchez

Pep Guardiola almost added wantaway Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez to his squad on deadline day. But since Arsenal failed to sign AS Monaco's Thomas Lemar as his replacement, they didn't let Sanchez leave. The Chilean is back at the Emirates and is in the final year of his contract.

As per reports in England, City are set to launch a £25 million bid for the 28-year old in January with Manchester United reportedly showing interest to prise Sanchez away under City's nose.

The striker's camp is rumoured to have informed Jose Mourinho that a £25 million signing-on fee is necessary for Sanchez to join United and now the Manchester clubs are in a tussle for his services. Thus, City do not want to wait till next summer as potential suitors pile up and are willing to bid in January to sign Alexis Sanchez.

Arsene Wenger's attempts to renew his superstar striker's contract have failed so far and the Gunners seem resigned to the fact that Sanchez will leave next year.

Julian Draxler willing to fight for his place at PSG

Celtic v Paris Saint Germain - UEFA Champions League
Draxler is rumoured to be surplus to requirements

Julian Draxler is considered to be surplus to requirements at Paris Saint-Germain with the arrivals of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. As a result, he is expected to move to England sooner than later with Arsenal among the clubs interested to sign him.

However, the German spoke about his happiness in Paris to German website DW Kick Off:

"I will do everything I can to be in the first XI. I’m really enjoying Paris, the city is really nice – I have a lot of fun playing with great players and in a great squad. I’m very happy.”

Despite the quotes, things can change very quickly in football and with the World Cup on the horizon, the German might opt to move to a club where he can receive more playing time. In such a scenario, Arsenal will snap him up willingly.

The Gunners are interested in signing the 19-year old Marseille left-back, as per reports in France. Rocchia is in the final year of his contract and Marseille sporting director, Andoni Zubizarreta, has so far failed to renew his deal.

Thus, Arsenal are looking to launch a January bid to sign the player as a replacement for Kieran Gibbs who joined West Brom this summer. Rocchia is reportedly being monitored by French scout Gilles Grimandi and the London side could face competition from Borussia Dortmund for the player's signature.
