Celtic forward Moussa Dembele has attracted a lot of attention from top European clubs, who could make a move for the player when the transfer window reopens in January. Reports suggest that Arsenal have joined Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the race to sign the French wonder-kid.

The Gunners sent scouts to the Celtic Park on Wednesday to watch Dembele, wherein the player scored his first two Champions League group stage goals against Pep Guardiola’s side, as the match finished in a 3-3 draw.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was reportedly keen on signing Dembele during the summer transfers along with Tottenham. However, the youngster chose more game time over the popularity of the clubs vying for his signature, consequently signing up for a move to Celtic.

A product of Fulham, the club he joined at the age of 16 from PSG, Dembele is one of the most promising young talents in the world football. He signed for Celtic this summer on a four-year contract. The player has so far made sixteen appearances since the start of the 2016-2017 campaign, scoring 12 goals for the Scottish premiership side.

Dembele has earned over 30 caps for France at youth level. He was a part of the under-19 squad who represented France in the European Championships 2015, wherein the squad reached the semi-finals, defeating Ukraine and Greece national Under-19 football team.

The Gunners were linked with the youngster throughout the summer and while the player joined Celtic, he is still on Arsenal’s radar. Reports suggest that the Gunner’s manager is still keen on signing the player and may make a move in January.

However, Arsenal are not the only ones looking out for the youngster and hence are set to face competition from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, who are also keeping tabs on the 20-year-old forward.

Moreover, the Gunners may face resistance from the Scottish club as Celtic are not thrilled with the top clubs interested in signing the 20-year-old, as they are keen on holding on to the talented forward for a long term.

While there is a possibility of a January bid from the aforementioned clubs, it seems highly unlikely that the player will make a move out of the club, before the season ends. Dembele has been a regular feature for the Hoops, thus he will need to choose his next move carefully wherein he does not end up on the bench and has more game time, the decision he took this time around.
