Arsenal are still searching for their first win of their season as they drew 0-0 last night away to Leicester. Whilst enjoying the majority of the position, the Gunner looked clueless going forward with their best chance falling to Theo Walcott, which was well blocked.

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to various social media platforms to make their frustration known. However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger felt that it was a good showing from his team who were coming into the back of a disappointing 3-4 loss to Liverpool at home on the opening weekend of the Premier League.

Speaking to BBC Sport after the game, Wenger said, "I think overall it was a good performance, a good match between two good teams. It was a game of top level intensity and I believe we responded well to last week's disappointment.

“It was a game of top level intensity and I believe we responded well to last week's disappointment. Leicester are a good team - they did not win the league and only lose three games last season for nothing.”

“We had to fight until the end. We could have lost or won it in the last 20 minutes.

“We wanted to win the game and we finished with five attacking players on the pitch."

However, the story would have been much different if the Jamie Vardy and the referee were on top of their game. Vardy, who earlier this summer rejected a £20 million move to North London, continued on his wayward form to start the season as he blazed the best chance of the game well wide. Leicester might as well count themselves unlucky with the referee Mark Clattenburg failing to spot a clear infringement by Hector Bellerin on Ahmed Musa with 2 minutes to go in the game.

With that decision going the other way, it would certainly have put the whole game into new light. Whilst stalwarts like Laurent Koscielny and Mesut Ozil were back for the game, the Gunners are still missing their first choice striker, Olivier Giroud, who was given an extended holiday after helping France to the final of Euro 2016.

Arsenal will now be travelling to Vicarage Road to face Watford as their search for the first three points of the season continue.
