Iker Casillas, the Spanish goalkeeper who plays for Real Madrid has denied any rumors of he and several of his high profile teammates not supporting the club’s quest for Wales’s attacker, Gareth Bale.

Casillas said, after Real Madrid defeated Chelsea 3-1 in Florida, that he and his teammates are in full support of president Florentino Perez’s hunt for Bale, denying any reports of the club’s senior players Casillas and Sergio Ramos unhappy over the club’s pursuit of the 24-year-old and his brewing arrival, reports The Sun.

“Last year it was Modric and now it’s ‘the Bale saga’. The president (Florentino Perez) and (director general) Jose Angel Sanchez always do everything to try and bring the best players to the club.” he added.

“The current squad is complete in every area but if a player like Bale comes along, he’ll be welcomed.”
