Balotelli arrested after assaulting policemen

Enoch is the younger brother of Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli

Manchester City star Mario Balotelli‘s younger brother Enoch Barwuah Balotelli, 20, was arrested on Christmas eve for assaulting two policemen in Italy.

Enoch, who had trials with Stoke City and Sunderland before joining Salford City last month, was arrested near a bar and kept under police custody until the appearance of a judge.

It is said that a man ripped off Enoch’s shirt when he was in a bar in Brescia with his sister Abigail, but the footballer attacked two policeman, who were called by the owner of the bar.

The policemen told that they found Balotelli on the street, shirtless and barefooted and when they approached him, they got kicked and punched. It is also reported that their squad car was damaged in the incident.

The court has granted bail to Enoch at his home address in Brescia until January 3, when he will have a fast track trial.

At his hearing, Enoch apologised and also admitted that his actions were ‘unjustified’ but claimed that he had been concerned about his sister during the attack.
