Barcelona interested in signing Paul Pogba, says Juventus' Pavel Nedved

Paul Pogba has been interesting Barcelona, says Pavel Nedved

Juventus’s Director Pavel Nedved has revealed that La Liga giants Barcelona are interested in signing star midfielder Paul Pogba.

The 22-year-old was bought by the Serie A giants in 2012 and in the three years so far, he has played 122 games for them in all competitions and helped them win the League title in 2013 and 2014.

"We know that Barca and other big clubs want him. But Pogba has a contract with us,” Nedved told El Mundo Deportivo in an interview.

The Catalan giants aren't the only club who are keen on signing him. French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in bringing him on board and so are Premier League giants Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.

Nedved further lavished praise on Pogba, saying that he was extremely important for the club but did add that his loss wouldn't weaken the side as they have many more players to choose from.

"We lose a lot without him. He is a footballer with an enormous quality, but we cannot cry about it. We have a great roster that can overcome his loss,” he said.

Pogba has a contract with the club until June 2019. Juventus are currently on top of the Serie A standings with 67 points in 28 matches.
