Barcelona roped in the likes of Kevin Prince Boateng and Frenkie de Jong in January this year. However, those two signings are far from convincing them to stay quiet in the summer.

On that note, let's have a look at what the rumour mill has to say about Barcelona today.

#1 Philippe Coutinho urged to stay put at Nou Camp

Blaugrana legend Hristo Stoichkov has urged Philippe Coutinho to sit tight at Barcelona and not even think about the idea of joining any other club. The ex-Liverpool man has been linked with a summer move to Manchester United after struggling to find consistent form.

Stoichkov advised Coutinho to stay put in Catalonia in an open letter published by Mundo Deportivo.

The Brazilian has registered 8 goals and assists and 5 goals this season.

#2 Ivan Rakitic's agent rules out Barcelona exit

Ivan Rakitic has insisted that he is happy at Barcelona, but that apparently isn't enough for the rumour mill to link him with an exit. When Rakitic's agent was asked about the possibility of a summer move, he said,

“Ivan leaves Spain in the summer? It’s an impossible scenario.”

Rakitic has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain. The midfielder's contract with the Catalans expires in 2021 and he is said to be in negotiations with the club over a new deal.

Ajax captain and Dutch prodigy Matthijs de Ligt wants a move to the Nou Camp in the summer, according to reports from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo. La Blaugrana recently signed de Ligt's teammate Frenkie de Jong in the January transfer window.

Barcelona are also said to be interested in signing de Ligt, and will have to shell out £75m for his signature. The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the best young centre-backs in the world and has scored 9 times in 95 appearances for Ajax. He has also been capped 13 times by the Netherlands.
