Bayern Munich and Hertha Berlin will face-off against each other for the second time this month, with Hertha travelling to the Allianz Arena to face the champions in a crucial Bundesliga fixture for the hosts, who would go level on points with league leaders Borussia Dortmund with a victory, at least for a few dozen hours.

The turn of the new year has been bright for the Bavarians as they have clawed their way back into the title race after Borussia Dortmund looked to have sealed the Bundesliga after a blistering start to the campaign.
