#3 Micheal Ballack speaks out about Hudson-Odoi amid transfer speculation to Bayern Munich
Former Bayern and Chelsea legend, Micheal Ballack has given his opinion about Callum Hudson-Odoi amid an inevitable move from Chelsea to Bayern Munich. The England International has been the subject of interest from the Bundesliga Champions who are desperate to sign him in this window.
Ballack hailed Hudson-Odoi as an outstanding talent and said that -
"We're talking about a player who just came recently from the youth level. He's trying to achieve the step to the professional level in a top club,"
"This makes it a lot more difficult for a young player because the standard is very, very high. It's hard to say whether the player is good enough for this demand or not. It's a fact that he's an outstanding talent."
The former German captain spent four seasons with the Blues where he made 105 appearances and scored 17 goals in the process.
#2 Bayern joins the race to sign Rabbi Matondo from Manchester City
Man City teenager, Rabbi Matondo has been in the news in recent times after he rejected a new contract offer which has raised alarm bells across Europe, especially from the Bundesliga.
The 18-year-old would be out of contract next year and clubs like Borussia Monchengladbach, Everton and Southampton are monitoring the situation of the Welshman. The Sun reports that Bayern Munich is also interested in Matindo and preparing a £10m bid for the youngster.
However, City is desperately trying to stop another academy product leaving the club after Sancho and Diaz went earlier. Pep Guardiola is believed to be a fan of Matondo who has been included in the first team training as well.
