Benayoun considering his options, says agent

Benayoun: Hoping for a premier league stay

Former Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun has several clubs to choose from, according to his agent Ronen Katzev. The Israel International captain’s contract at Chelsea expired at the end of last season, and has expressed his desire to continue playing in the Premier League.

Katzev has revealed that West Brom and another premier league are interested in his player.

“West Brom have registered their interest and now we are just waiting to see what other options are available.”

Benayoun: Hoping for a premier league stay

Benayoun spent the first half of 2012/13 season on loan at West Ham but his spell spell with the Hammers was curtailed by injury and was subsequently sent back to his parent club. He made 6 substitute appearances in Premier league and started 3 games in the Europa league during the second half of the season for Chelsea under his former manager Rafael Benitez.

“We have been negotiating with another club in the Premier League and clubs in Germany and Spain, so Yossi will have to make a decision very soon.

“He has been playing in England for a long time now so it has become like a second home to him.” Katzev said.
