French Cup winners Bordeaux today signed veteran France defender Jeremie Brechet on a one year deal.
The 33-year-old back, who had come to the end of his contract at relegated Troyes, is Bordeaux’s first new arrival of the close season.
Brechet started his career with Lyon, winning two league titles, before spells with Real Sociedad, Inter Milan, PSV Eindhoven, Sochaux, and Troyes.
