Berlin, Feb 10 (IANS) Dortmund’s Marco Reus and Sven Bender will be sidelined owing to injuries, the “BVB” announced via its official website.
Despite winning 5-1 over Bremen, Dortmund again suffered an injury setback, as Sven Bender and Marco Reus would be out for one and two weeks due to thigh injuries, Xinhua reported Sunday.
Sven Bender was diagnosed with a strained right tight muscle, which forces him to take a break for at least one week.
Marco Reus tore muscle fibres in his right tight and is expected to return in two weeks on the pitch, according to club doctor Markus Braun.
Jurgen Klopp’s men occupy currently third place in the Bundesliga standings, 17 points behind front-runners Bayern Munich.
