The Bundesliga has been the platform for many of the current Premier League superstars over the years. The league's ability to nurture young talents every season has attracted young players from all over the world.

Players like Kevin de Bruyne, Mesut Ozil amongst several others have found real success in the Premier League after initially impressing in the German top flight.

This season has been no exception either, as a lot of players are seemingly trying to impose themselves in the Bundesliga. Even though players like Leon Goretzka and Naby Keita have already signed up Bayern and Liverpool, the league still has a lot of good players who can make a strong impact in the English top flight.

In this article, we will talk about five impressive Bundesliga players who are destined for a move to Premier League next season.

#5 Arturo Vidal - Bayern Munich

Following the acquisition of Germany's midfield sensation Leon Goretzka who will join the club next season, Vidal's stint with Bayern is almost guaranteed to come to an end this summer as the Chilean International is highly linked with a move to Chelsea.

Head coach Antonio Conte is reportedly eyeing a reunion with the Bayern midfielder, whom he had worked with during their time at Juventus.

An enforcer in the centre of the park, Vidal has once again performed very impressively in the league this season, scoring five goals, two of which were last minute winners.

His presence in midfield could definitely give Chelsea an advantage over their opponent while his vast experience and unmatched physicality are perfectly suited to the tactical philosophy of Antonio Conte.

Vidal's current contract with the Bavarians runs out in 2019 but the Chilean is almost a guaranteed departure from Allianz Arena next summer and is expected to cost around €37m.

#4 Jann-Fiete Arp - Hamburger SV

HSV 'wunderkind' Jann-Fiete Arp is regarded as one of the most exciting U-19 talents in world football at the moment.

A product of Hamburg's youth academy, the 18-year-old has already established himself as a key member of the Hamburg senior team and has already made nine appearances in the Bundesliga.

A tall striker, who models his gameplay on English forward Harry Kane, Fiete-Arp not only became the first millennial to appear in the Bundesliga but also became Hamburg's all-time youngest goal-scorer, earlier this season.

However, his blistering performances in the German top flight has attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund and yes, you guessed it, Tottenham Hotspur.

The youngster could be on the verge of leaving the Volksparkstadion should HSV get relegated this season, which at the moment is a very likely proposition.

#3 Christian Pulisic - Borussia Dortmund

Earlier this season, Borussia Dortmund youngster Christian Pulisic admitted that he would start considering offers from abroad after the World Cup in 2018.

Although the United States didn't manage to make it through to the main stage of the coveted tournament in Russia, Christian Pulisic's departure from Dortmund in the summer could still be likely.

The American teenage superstar has been one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dire BVB attack this season. Aside from being one of the top dribblers in the league this season, his stunning performances have helped the club side not feel the loss of the injured Marco Reus as well as an out-of-form Andre Schurrle.

The 19-year-old is still expected to become a key figure for Dortmund in the second half of the season despite the expected return of Marco Reus and Maximilian Philipp.

It will be interesting to see how his transfer saga shapes up in the upcoming summer transfer window with a host of Premier League sides reportedly vying for his signature.

#2 Timo Werner - RB Leipzig

Best German striker?

The transfer saga of Naby Keita has somewhat overshadowed the brilliance of other Leipzig players, most notably Timo Werner.

The former Stuttgart forward is arguably the best German striker lurking around, at the moment and is tipped to lead the German attack in the upcoming FIFA World Cup in the summer.

He has failed to replicate his stunning form from last season where he helped the club finish in the runners-up spot by scoring 21 goals. So far, he has bagged a respectable tally of nine goals in just 16 matches this season.

Werner can be a perfect addition to Liverpool, especially with the Reds on the verge of losing Daniel Sturridge. Werner's sheer pace coupled with his goal-scoring abilities make him a unique composition in the final third.

#1 Leon Bailey - Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen's Leon Bailey has been one of the best players in the Bundesliga this season, if not the best.

The Jamaican winger, despite a difficult start to his Bundesliga campaign in the second half of last season, has come out all guns blazing and has helped his club challenge for the Champions League places by scoring six goals and providing four assists.

Along with Julian Brandt, the 20-year-old is one of the most promising wingers in the Bundesliga, who also holds a dream of playing in the Premier League, which, unsurprisingly has attracted interest from Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Born in Kingston, Leon Bailey spoke about his dream of playing in the Premier League last month when he told Bild: "Fundamentally, my dream has always been, and still is, to play in England. If I continue to work hard, I am sure that it will work out.”

Indeed! If he can keep up his stunning form throughout the entirety of the season, a move to Premier League could be on the horizon for the former Genk winger.
