Chelsea secured their 19th win of the season thanks to Kevin Long's own goal and a strike from Victor Moses. The Blues dominated today's game from the start – something that has not been done by them for a long time now.

Ashley Barnes' freak goal in the 64th minute gave Burnley hopes of getting a league double over last season's champions but a surprisingly poor performance at the back saw them end the game with a 2-1 loss.

Here are the 5 talking points from the game:

#5 – Morata needs to work on his shooting

Burnley v Chelsea - Premier League
The Golden Chance

When 1-0 up, Chelsea's Alvaro Morata was one-on-one with the keeper but he somehow shot wide. It wasn't as bad as his miss vs Arsenal at the start of the year but it was something that should be tucked in 9 out of 10 times.

The Spaniard was linking up well with Olivier Giroud and making good runs today but the end product was clearly missing. He is a striker and his main role should be scoring goals.

Chelsea shelled out £70 million to Real Madrid to get a player who scores goals, not someone who would just link up well. Conte needs to get Morata an extra session of shooting in training from tomorrow

#4 Sean Dyche is special

Throughout the season, we have seen Antonio Conte crib about the lack of transfers at Chelsea. Meanwhile, at Burnley, Sean Dyche has been working wonders with his limited squad.

The expectations from both managers are different but the fact that they are ending in almost-similar positions shows how one has made the most of his resource while the other has chosen to hide behind that excuse.

It's not long before a big club makes a move for Dyche. Just like Brendan Rodgers and Mauricio Pochettino, the Burnley manager might soon get to manage at a club challenging for the Champions League position or even the league title.

#3 Bakayoko and Cahill impress

Tiemoue Bakayoko and Gary Cahill have had a fair share of criticism from Chelsea fans this season. The dup have been ripped to bits for their poor performances at the start of the season but today, showed what they are capable of.

Cahill was solid at the back and was commanding the backline for the 90+ minutes played. He even put himself on the line head a ball away from Barns in a dangerous situation. He got kicked in his face and that would have brought back memories of John Terry for a lot of Chelsea fans.

Bakayoko was signed as an upgrade to Nemanja Matic but failed to do anything special. He had a good debut at Tottenham but was unable to replicate even 50% of it in any other game.

Today, it was different. He was solid in the midfield and was not making too many errors. His first touch is an issue and that's something he needs to work on in training.

#2 A game of freak goals

“What just happened?” – that was the reaction of the fans in the stadium and the ones watching it around the world when the three goals were scored today.

For the first goal, Victor Moses made a brilliant run into the Burnley box and crossed it into a dangerous area. Pope got a hand to it but it bounced off Kevin Long's thigh and the defender accidentally punched it into his own net.

If that goal was lucky, Burnley's equalizer was no different. Guðmundsson drifted one in from the right wing and had a shot at goal from a good 25 yards out. The ball was clearly going out of play but it took a lucky deflection off Ashley Barnes' heel and went in.

The third one was probably the most 'sane' goal tonight. But when Emerson put in a dangerous cross, Giroud tried to do a scorpion kick and hilariously missed. Moses made the most of that miss and slotted in at the near post.

#1 Chelsea's Champions League hopes are still alive!

With 4 games to go, Chelsea are still in the hunt to finish in the Top 4. The Blues are now 5 points away from 4th placed Tottenham – who have dropped 5 points in the last 2 games.

When Conte's men lost 3-1 to Spurs at Stamford Bridge, everyone believed that their chances of finishing in the top 4 were done and dusted. But a sensational comeback vs Southampton and a dominating victory at Burnley has put the dream back on track.

Tottenham lost toot Manchester City last weekend and dropped points at Brighton & Hove last night. Burnley, meanwhile, are on course to finish above Arsenal – who are just 2 points away.
