Chelsea FC v FC Barcelona - UEFA Champions League Round of 16: First Leg
Willian celebrating his fantastic goal at the Bridge

Thibaut Courtois - 7/10

The Belgian had very little to do in the 1st half as the visitors hardly managed to test him. He was called upon more in the 2nd half and couldn't really do anything regarding Messi's goal.

Cesar Azpilicueta - 9/10

The £7m defender had one of his best games tonight. Defensively he was spot on. Calm and composed led the team front the back.

Andreas Christensen - 6/10

The Danish defender was also having one of his best games until a silly error from the youngster allowed the visitors to get back into the game. A costly mistake which cost Chelsea dearly.

Antonio Rudiger - 7/10

The German international was chosen ahead of Cahill tonight who's power and pace came in handy. Also looked threatening when on the move with the ball.

Victor Moses - 7/10

The Nigerian was solid at the back and was disciplined while defending. Thanks to his pace, he also caused problems while moving forward on the right wing.

N'Golo Kante - 8/10

The Frenchman dominated the midfield and had a lot of pressure with just Fabregas alongside him. He coped well and didn't allow Barca's midfield any space.

Cesc Fabregas - 7/10

He was in the starting lineup with only one job - defend. Did well with Kante helping him along. He was also involved in some key passes up front.

Marcos Alonso - 7/10

He defended well and coped up with Barca's attack. He went forward more in the 2nd half but his aerial presence was just not enough.

Willian - 9/10

Arguably Chelsea's best player on the pitch tonight. Willian was superb while attacking and defending. He came close to scoring twice before he actually got his name on the scoresheet. If only one of those two shots been a goal, the Blues would have been heading to Camp Nou with a 1-goal lead.

Eden Hazard - 8/10

Chelsea didn't have much possession in the game but they did, he made sure to make it count. Cause troubles in the opposition half and was effective when on the move.

Pedro - 7/10

Probably one of the quietest men in the front three for the hosts. Offensively, he didn't contribute much but his defensive skills cannot be ignored.

With less than 10 minutes to go, Morata failed to make an impact other than getting booked as soon as he came on.
