Lionel Messi will have a case to prove after recent debacles faced by Barcelona

Teams: Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspurs, PSV Eindhoven and Inter Milan

Unarguably, Barcelona is by far the team to beat in this group. They are flying in La Liga and would love to continue the winning momentum in the Champions League.

Elsewhere, Tottenham have made a forgettable start in the Premier League. They would give their best to regain the momentum. Harry Kane has seen a dip in performance and would look to get back his goalscoring touch.

Since Tottenham has never won the Champions League/European Cup out of the quartet, they would be looking towards Kane for inspiration with his powerful right foot.

PSV Eindhoven is mimicking the results of Barcelona with a perfect start in the first five games of their domestic league. They are on a goalscoring spree in the Dutch league, Eredivisie. However, in the battle of the biggest prize of Europe, they are staring at a momentous task to uproot Barcelona, where the legend of Messi transpires.

Inter Milan is back in the contest after seven seasons and would love to make the most of it. They have the worst of the starts in the Serie A sitting in the bottom half of the table.

Barcelona and Tottenham are the favourites to qualify from this group but one should not be disappointed if PSV or Inter spring some surprises.
