Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has stated that he wants to win everything and also didn’t rule out managing his country at some point in the future.

Mourinho returned to Chelsea last summer after leaving the club in 2007. In between his two spells at Stamford Bridge, the Portuguese coach took charge of Inter in Italy and won the club’s first ever treble. He then moved onto Real Madrid during the peak years of Barcelona’s dominance and managed to win La Liga and the Copa del Rey before returning to Chelsea.

He was asked about taking the Portuguese national job and replied in the only way he knows how.

He said: “The work will be for me when I want to finish my career and realise when I need to rest. But for now, I train, I want to play.

“I want to compete in many competitions at the same time and have games every three days. I want the Champions League, the Championship, I want everything.”

“At this stage, I do not see me waiting every two years for a World Cup or a European Championship.”

“Maybe the position of the Portuguese national team has a generation that does not allow us to do great things, but it really does not worry me. I want to try to give what I have to my country.”

“It will be special if I can train the national team of my country and do something for my people.”

Mourinho played just 94 league games in a playing career that last just seven years.
