Chelsea have confirmed on their official website that their talismanic midfielder Frank Lamaprd would be leaving the club this summer, bringing to an end a glorious 13-year career at Stamford Bridge.

Apart from being Chelsea’s highest goal scorer of all time, he is also the midfielder with the most goals and he also scored 20 or more goals for the club in five consecutive seasons between 2005-06 and 2009-10.
