Chelsea Goalkeeper, Petr Cech is expected to be out for 8-10 weeks following a successful surgery on his shoulder injury.

The 31-year old dislocated his shoulder when he fell heavily on his right side during the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid.

What will be interesting to see is whether Mourinho now recalls Thibaut Courtois (on loan at Atletico Madrid) to be his number one choice next season.

Mark Schwarzer will continue in goal on Sunday for Chelsea’s final game of the season against Cardiff City.

Petr Cech is currently tied with Wojciech Szczesny on clean sheets and if Szczesny fails to keep a clean sheet in the final game, Cech will win the Golden Glove award.
