Rumour: Chelsea in advance negotiations with Lewandowski

Chelsea have been linked with a move for a big name striker for months now. With all the focus being on a move for Falcao, one news source is quoted as saying that Chelsea have made Lewandowski an “irresistable offer”.

We have sat and read reports of a move for Falcao and how much that will take for Chelsea to bring him to London and surely like me, you must think that reports of £60-70m to bring him here is quite simply ridiculous!

For me, Lewandowski at 25 is a better option. As we all know, his contract runs out next summer and he will become a free agent. Having scored 36 goals in 49 matches for Dortmund last season, Jose Mourinho witnessed first hand his abilities as he scored four past Real Madrid who were then managed by Mourinho.

News source “El Confidential” have been quoted in the last few days about Lewandowski and a possible move made by Real Madrid for the Dortmund striker. Having made an enquiry about his services to the players representatives, Madrid were told that they are already in “advanced negotiations” with Chelsea!

If this story has substance then that would be fantastic news!
