Let's delve in to see what the rumour mill has to say about Chelsea today.
#1 £300k a week for Eden Hazard
Maurizio Sarri has claimed that Chelsea have offered Eden Hazard £300k a week salary to stay put at the Stamford Bridge. The Belgian began talks over a contract extension months ago but is yet to agree on a new deal amidst concrete interest from Real Madrid.
When asked about the player's future, Sarri said:
"It’s up to him. The club is available to sign a new contract immediately but it’s up to him if he wants to renew."
Hazard's current contract with the Blues ends in 2020.
#2 Chelsea make official approach for Dortmund star Christian Pulisic
According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea moved a step ahead of all the clubs interested in signing Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic. The Blues have registered an official bid for the American international and spoke to Dortmund on Friday regarding a move in January.
The German outfit want £70m for Pulisic but Chelsea's offer is said to be lesser than the asking price. The Blues are eyeing the 20-year-old as a potential successor for Eden Hazard, whose future at the club remains uncertain.
Liverpool and Tottenham are also said to be interested in a move for Pulisic.
#3 Chelsea line up move for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez
If reports from Express are to be believed, Chelsea are ready to splash the cash to bring Barcelona outcast Denis Suarez to the Stamford Bridge in January. The midfielder, who is rated at £45 million, is also being watched by Italian outfit AC Milan.
Suarez has fallen down the pecking order under Ernesto Valverde and Chelsea are ready to offer him an escape route in January. The Spaniard also has Premier League experience, having spent two seasons at Manchester City as a teenager.
Suarez has made only two appearances for Barcelona this season and is keen to get more game time under his belt.
