What’s the story?
Eden Hazard has been the rumour mill's favourite customer ever since he made his debut for Lille. The Belgian has loved the limelight and the speculation on his future has always been something he has thoroughly enjoyed.
Now, with just 1.5 years left on his Chelsea contract, Hazard has publically said that a decision on what he is going to do has been made. He did not reveal the decision just yet but Cesc Fabregas, who is a very good friend of Hazard, has some insight.

The heart of the matter
Chelsea and Eden Hazard have been in constant contract talks but the player was not ready to sign it just yet. He was waiting to see the players The Blues were planning to bring in and with the latest acquisition of Gonzalo Higuain, it looks like the Belgian is happy.
Cesc Fábregas offered some insight on the decision and said, “If Hazard has said that he has already made his decision, then it’s because has decided to renew with Chelsea!”

Despite Fabregas saying the exact thing all Chelsea fans were hoping for, it still isn't a done deal. Unless it is official, it will still be a topic of debate and worry for fans around the world. The Premier League side are doing all they can to keep him at the club but it will take a lot more than just signing players to keep him.
