Chelsea surprised everyone as they pulled off a sensational performance against Manchester City to secure three crucial points.

Surprisingly not much do in the game but made a good save from Silva’s free kick in the second half.

Branislav Ivanovic – 8.5/10

What a game from the right back. Scored a thunderbolt with his weaker foot to give Chelsea the lead. Defensively solid too.

Gary Cahill – 8/10

Unlucky not to bag a goal after his header braced the cross bar. Did his job in defense too.

John Terry – 7/10

Leadered the defence well and neutralized the ariel threats from City strikers. Flawless game.

Cesar Azpilicueta – 7/10

Good game. Seems to be growing in confidence every match in left back position.

David Luiz – 7.5/10

Belted some freekicks wide but did his job in the midfield. Used his physical presence well and kick started many Chelsea counter attacks.

Nemanja Matic – 8.5/10

What a signing he is turning out to be. Out muscled Yaya Toure, not many in the world can do that. He had a shot hit the cross bar too.

Ramires – 6.5/10

Full of energy but guilty of missing some easy chances to finish off Manchester City. Still a good game.

Willian – 7.5/10

Worked hard for his team till the moment he was replaced. He also tracked back and helped his defenders. Got an yellow for time wasting.

Eden Hazard – 9/10

Made Manchester City defenders look ordinary. Twisting and turning through out the game, he was the heart of this Chelsea side. Easily one of the best players in the world at the moment. Man of the match for sure.

Samuel Eto’o – 6.5/10

Yet to score an away goal in Chelsea colors but he did okay today laying off balls for Hazard and Willian in the wide areas. Decent display.
