Chelsea reportedly open to offers for Oscar

Chelsea offer Oscar to PSG?

Chelsea are open to any offers for Brazilian attacking midfielder Oscar, as they step up their interest in Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to Goal.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho is thought to be very interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain’s forward, Lavezzi, meaning he is now open to offers for Oscar, who flattered to deceive in the second half of last season.

Oscar started the season extremely well, notching up six league goals in his first 18 games in the Premier League season. He was leading the way at Chelsea until Eden Hazard got into his groove and since then, the Brazilian has played a supporting role to the Belgian.

He scored just two more goals after January 1st as he struggled to regain his early-season form. That could be down to a lack of fitness, though, considering the amount of football he’s played over the last couple of years.

It is understood, though, that Mourinho sees Oscar as a sellable asset along the way to passing Financial Fair Play regulations while also bringing in added quality in Lavezzi, who seems to be one of his top targets.
