Chelsea are set to loan out French centre-back Kurt Zouma for another season according to reports.

Zouma signed for Chelsea from St.Etienne in January for a fee believed to be over £12million. The centre back was loaned back to St.Etienne for the remainder of the season, which meant he would join up with Mourinho’s men on the training field in the summer. However, Zouma is set to be loaned out once again for the coming 2014/15 season.

Zouma signed a five-year contract with the west London based side in January, but it seems he will have to wait to make his first appearance for the club for another season.

The 19-year-old made 24 league appearances for St.Etienne this season, but is not yet known if Zouma will return back to France for his second loan spell.

Zouma is a highly rated centre-back and has been sought after by several European clubs, but Chelsea and Mourinho managed to lure the colossal defender to the club ahead of several other teams.

With David Luiz moving to PSG in the summer, it was thought that Mourinho would utilise Zouma in the 2013/14 season, however, he seems set to depart the club on a temporary basis once again.
