Rumour: Chelsea look at possible swap deal for Luke Shaw

Chelsea have moved ahead of Manchester United in the pursuit of Southampton left back Luke Shaw as they are looking to offer 18 million pounds and Ryan Bertrand to meet the 25 million asking price of Southampton.

Although Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino does not want to sell the talented left back, a deal like the rumoured one might test his resolve as it will enable him to buy players in other positions.

Ryan Bertrand has not featured regularly under Mourinho and may be attracted with the prospect of regular first team football if the deal happens.
