Despite an injury-plagued campaign, Loftus Cheek played 21 games in the league, contributing with two goals and three assists. However, following a return from injury, the Chelsea midfielder played an important role in Palace's resurgence in the Premier League as The Eagles comfortably beat the drop and finished in the top 10.

Loftus-Cheek recently demanded a bigger role in the squad next season at Stamford Bridge or else he will be inclined on parting ways with his boyhood club. Since breaking into the first team in 2014, the midfielder has played just 32 games for The Blues, with a majority of them being substitute appearances.

This has attracted the interest of Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Crystal Palace as they have been monitoring his situation and are keen to grab him on loan for the upcoming season.
