Chelsea agree terms with New Manager

Chelsea have found their next Boss

After a month of uncertainty regarding the Managerial situation at Stamford Bridge, where some likely yet more unusual and bizarre candidates appeared in the running for the job, the Blues have finally found the successor to Antonio Conte.

According to The Sun, Maurizio Sarri is set to be named the new manager after Chelsea struck an agreement with Napoli and will pay £4.4 million as the Italian has two years remaining on his contract in Naples.

Napoli had already appointed Carlo Ancelotti last month but have remained adamant on receiving a compensation for the 59-year-old all along. It is believed that Sarri will sign a two-year contract with an option of a third that includes a salary of £5 million per year and is expected to be unveiled in the coming days.

Sarri has been busy this offseason scouting potential new signings and with his appointment, Chelsea could follow it up with the announcement of defender Daniele Rugani as their first signing of the transfer window.
