Willian insists he's staying at Chelsea

Willian has confirmed to ESPN Brasil that he has no intention of leaving Chelsea in January. The Brazilian was linked with a move away after falling down the pecking order at the club.

He was linked with a move to Manchester United and Palmeiras in January. He rebuffed all rumours of his departure from the club and said that he has not spoken to any anyone about leaving, even on loan.

“There was never a contact made with Palmeiras, that’s why I decided to reply politely. I just want people to make sure that they know I am very happy at Chelsea,” he said.

Real Madrid not interested in Eden Hazard anymore

Chelsea have been handed a huge boost in the quest to keep Eden Hazard at the club. Real Madrid have ended their interest in him according to Marca.

Los Blancos are reportedly more keen on developing Marco Asensio. The Spaniard is regarded as the best young talent at the club and Zidane has decided to concentrate on him.

Chelsea were worried that Hazard would not sign a new contract and move to Bernabeu for free. His current contract expires in 18 months.


Chelsea in for Thomas Lemar

Chelsea have stepped up their interest in signing Thomas Lemar according to Evening Standard. The AS Monaco forward, who is said to priced at £90 million, is said to be their #1 target for January.

Antonio Conte is keen on adding a forward who can score a lot of goals. The manager is not happy with Michy Batshuayi and is willing to let the Belgian leave this month.

Richmond Boakye Yiadom of Red Star Belgrade has also been linked with The Blues. The Ghana striker ended 2017 as one of the most prolific strikers in Europe by scoring over 40 goals in the calendar year.
