Chelsea Transfer Rumors: Hulk IN, Kalou OUT

The agent of Porto‘s star player Hulk has revealed that Chelsea are interested and that the player would accept a chance to play in the premier league, should the Blues come up with a concrete offer. Hulk’s agent, Teodoro Fonseca, was quoted saying:

We are open to talks with Chelsea at any time, any place. There is interest, but at the moment there is still nothing concrete. He likes the English Premier League a lot and Chelsea are a good club for Hulk.

Chelsea have been interested in the 25-year-old Brazilian international for quite sometime now. However, their approach was stalled last year after club president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa placed a £80 million price tag on the attacker.

Meanwhile, Salomon Kalou is yet to decide on his future after failing to impress at the Stamford Bridge since joining from Feyenoord in the summer of 2006. The 26-year-old can leave the Blues on a free transfer this summer as his current contract expires at the end of June. Reports suggest that the striker rejected a new contract last September over wage issues but is ready to sit down with the club officials once again. In an interview last month, Kalou said:

I enjoy being here. There is no reason why I don’t want to stay. Robbie has come in and given me the chance to play more and I’m very happy with that. I never think there is no way I shouldn’t have a future at the club.
