When you look at Eto’o’s form this season overall, on the surface, six goals in 16 Premier League outings is a bit disappointing. But when you boil it down to home matches alone the statistics make for much better reading.

All his league goals for the Blues have come at home, and in just nine outings, meaning at Stamford Bridge Eto’o scores a goal every 135 minutes.

He also has an incredible 74% shot accuracy meaning just a tad under three quarters of the 19 shots he has taken in those games have hit the target.

If this game was at Goodison Park he might have been less of a problem but there is something about Stamford Bridge and the home support that really seems to get Eto’o going.
