Spain clearly dominate with a commanding presence in the Champions League. It’s no wonder that plenty of promising Spanish players who would walk into many teams don’t even make it to the 30-man provisional squad for the World Cup.
With at least 22 Spanish players in the Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid squads taking part in the final, it almost literally is a “Spanish affair”.
Germany come in second place with 56 players while Brazil come third with 52.
France and Italy come fourth and fifth respectively while England who had four teams in the competition had only 24 players.
