Cristiano Ronaldo may miss Champions League final after suffering a hamstring injury against Valladolid in the league
Cristiano Ronaldo suffered a hamstring injury just 9 minutes into the match against Real Valladolid leading to concerns over his participation in the Champions League final on May 24. He has suffered injuries to his knee and hamstring recently and the match against Valladolid was supposed to mark his return.
Real Madrid face further injury concerns over midfielder, Angel di Maria and defender, Pepe as they ended the match in bad shape. Manager, Carlo Ancelotti, however doesn’t seem too concerned over the injuries, “I don’t think Cristiano’s problem is a big thing, but Pepe didn’t end the game in good shape and we will see with Di Maria, although that shouldn’t be too serious either” he said.
The loss to Valldolid meant Real Madrid’ s title hopes have all but ended.
