What's the story?

Juventus talisman Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly so happy with the services at his luxury hotel complex during his holiday in Greece that he rewarded the staff with a generous amount of tips.

In case you didn't know...

Ronaldo is currently on holiday with his family in Greece after concluding a successful domestic and international campaign.

The recent season saw the 34-year-old tally 21 league goals and 8 assists to help the Old Lady to their eighth consecutive Serie A title. He was named Serie A Player of the Year for his contributions, which could be considered a great achievement for a debutant in Italy.

The former Real Madrid forward also netted six goals in the Champions League, helping Juventus to the quarter-finals of the competition before losing out on a semi-final spot to Dutch titans Ajax.

The 'Champions League' man may be best remembered for his hat-trick against Atletico Madrid in the Round of 16 fixture, a feat which helped the Bianconeri overturn a two-goal deficit and secure a place in the quarter-finals of the European competition.

Internationally, Ronaldo led Portugal to the first-ever UEFA Nations League title after defeating the Netherlands in the finals.

The heart of the matter

According to AS English, Ronaldo has spent most of his holiday on a luxury yacht on the French Riviera but it is believed he is also making use of a hotel in Greece.

The report claims that the Portugal international's privacy was protected enough for him to reward hotel staff with a generous tip.

The Bianconeri superstar reportedly thanked the staff for allowing him to enjoy a peaceful holiday with a massive €20,000 tip.

This is not the first time Ronaldo has left huge tips for hotel staff, having done the exact same thing for ten members of staff in the same destination last year.

What's next?

Juventus will return to action when they face Tottenham Hotspur in the International Champions Cup on July 21.
