Paris, June 7 (IANS) The medical staff of the Croatian football team has confirmed that both Luka Modric and Vedran Corluka can recover from muscle discomfort and debut in the Euro 2016 against Turkey.

Midfielder Modric, who suffered discomfort during the UEFA Champions League final with Real Madrid, played in the first half of his national team's 10-0 victory over San Marino on Saturday, reports Efe.

Boris Nemec, Croatian national team doctor, on Monday said Lokomotiv Moscow defender Corluka and Modric suffer nothing serious and will be fine within a few days.

Nemec added that he thought both players will be ready for the game against Turkey.

Croatia will compete in group D, along with Spain, Turkey and the Czech Republic.
