Ederson - 6.5/10

Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson had very little to do against Crystal Palace and had a largely comfortable game. The Brazilian made regulation stops against Christian Benteke and Eberechi Eze and was impressive with his distribution.

Nathan Ake - 6.5/10

Nathan Ake also had a positive outing and used his pace and physicality to keep pace with Crystal Palace's counters. The Dutch defender did not face much of a threat on the day and kept his clean sheet.

Aymeric Laporte - 7/10

Aymeric Laporte used his passing skills to good effect for Manchester City and nearly bagged an assist in the first half. Laporte also carried the ball into the midfield on several occasions and had a good game.

Joao Cancelo - 6.5/10

Joao Cancelo did have a few problems in the first half but made amends with a good comeback. The Portuguese defender created several chances for Manchester City towards the end of the game.

Benjamin Mendy - 7.5/10

Benjamin Mendy was a lively presence on the left flank and tormented Crystal Palace with his pace. The Frenchman bagged a well-deserved assist for Manchester City's first goal and had an excellent outing.

Fernandinho - 7/10

Fernandinho was a part of a double pivot for Manchester City and his tenacity ensured that his side kept the ball. The Brazilian midfielder also pulled off a few excellent passes and held his own against Crystal Palace.

Rodri - 6.5/10

Rodri was the driving force behind Manchester City's domination of the ball and was accurate with his distribution. The Spaniard maintained his side's passing movements but was unable to create chances of note.

Ferran Torres - 8/10

Ferran Torres had a relatively quiet first half but showed glimpses of his ability with a volley that could have found the back of the net. The young winger made no mistake with his effort in his second half and scored a well-deserved goal.

Raheem Sterling - 6.5/10

Raheem Sterling showed shades of his best self against Crystal Palace but was unable to find the back of the net. The Englishman was presented with several chances on the day and will need to rekindle his prolific touch to become a formidable force under Pep Guardiola.

Sergio Aguero - 8/10

Sergio Aguero was given a chance to shine in what wass probably his last game at Selhurst Park. The Argentine legend marked his appearance with a ferocious strike and scored his first-ever goal at the stadium.

Gabriel Jesus - 7/10

Gabriel Jesus was an effective presence in the final third for Manchester City and managed to create a few chances for his teammates. The Brazilian forward was tenacious off the ball and put in an impressive shift.
