David Beckham set to move to Paris Saint-Germain

David Beckham #23 of Los Angeles Galaxy hugs his teammates after being taken out of the game late in the second half against the Houston Dynamo in the 2012 MLS Cup at The Home Depot Center on December 1, 2012 in Carson, California.

The former Mancherster United and Real Madrid player is now officially a free agent, after he played out his contract with LA Galaxy.

He had been recently linked with moves to France, England, Japan and Australia with clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham and QPR tipped to sign the Englishman.

Radio channel RMC revealed that Paris Saint-Germain have already made a contract offer of a contract for David Beckham, with a deal would be for only half-a-year with the option for an extension.

Metro reported that Beckham is said to have met with senior Monaco officials to discuss a six-month contract, but French newspaper L’Equipe now reports he is keen to join cash-rich PSG.

Beckham had himself revealed that he was tracked by PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti, who had personally congratulated him after his MLS Cup victory with the Galaxy, but also said that it was nothing.

“That doesn’t mean they want to sign me,” said David.
