Didier Drogba posts video of Chelsea players' brilliant response to 'boring' tag

Chelsea’s players and their game of head tennis

Premier League champions-elect Chelsea definitely have the players but are never very flamboyant. They have been criticised for their pragmatic style of play, with their recent match in the Premier League against Arsenal drawing chants of “Boring, boring Chelsea” from the Gunners faithful.

Well, the Blues’ players clearly had had enough of that tag and decided to do something about it. The players, led by Didier Drogba, decided to play a game of ‘head-tennis’ at the dinner table in their training facilities, and executed a great sequence where all the players sequentially headed the ball towards the goal, which in this case, was a dustbin.

The players who were involved in this hilarious act were Branislav Ivanovic, who started the move, Loic Remy, Eden Hazard, John Terry, Didier Drogba, Loic Remy, Thibaut Courtois and Jon Obi Mikel, who headed the ball into the bin.

Following the so-called goal, the players celebrated grandly to complete the whole joke. The video on Instagram by Didier Drogba, who captioned it as, yes, you guessed it, “Boring, boring Chelsea.”
