Do Chelsea really need to buy "Superstars" now?

It’s that time of the year again. All the big names linked to us. The fan’s following the transfer window hoping for a superstar to join us. It’s happened in the past and will happen again in the future. But do we want that to happen now? In my opinion, not entirely.

Lets start of with our attack. We already have Torres and Ba. Torres was our top scorer with 23 goals last season. Our loanee Romelu Lukaku was in scintillating form last season with West Brom. He single-handedly changed the tempo of the game as and when he came on. If he returns to Chelsea this season, I see our strike problem solved. As for the Midfield, we have MAZACAR. Considered the best midifeld trio in the entire PL. We have KDB who has been outstanding with Werder Bremen. Marko Marin hasn’t impressed this season, but he’s capable of a lot more. No wonder he’s called the “German Lionel Messi“. If Andre Schurrle decides to switch to blue, we have in our hands a very versatile player who can play in almost any position up the field. As for defence, it looks pretty solid. We did sign the Brazilian, Wallace last year. Cesar, Ivan, Cahill and Cole look like our best 4 right now. We have a hoard of options to choose from in our squad. We have Terry, Bertrand, Andreas Christenen , Wallace and of course David Luiz. Now it gets tricky. Chelsea recently released Turnbull and Hilario. We only have Blackman as the second to Petr Cech. For those of us who watched the friendlies against city, we know how good Blackman is. Or how good he isn’t. If rumors are to be believed Jose Mourinho will be bringing with him Diego Lopez. Lopez doesn’t mind being the second choice keeper. And by the look of things, Curtois would be coming back to chelsea after a couple years or so because we’d want him to play regularly. Curtois doesn’t deserve to be on the bench. He is an outstanding keeper. And so , there you have it. Whatever happens now will be seen.Until then KTBFFH!
