Chelsea fans can rejoice if this is true!

Hello and welcome to Real Madrid transfer news and rumours of the day! Here are the top stories surrounding the Galacticos tonight!

#3 Federico Chiesa linked to Madrid

Former Arsenal forward Paul Mariner has tipped Federico Chiesa to be a big hit in the future. The Fiorentina star has been in good form this season and has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Mariner, meanwhile, believes that clubs are interested in him because he is going to be a star one day before adding that he loves the work he does on the right flank.

“Well here’s the thing. You’ve got United after him, Real Madrid are after him, Bayern are after him. You name it, they’re in for him,” Mariner said.

“Everybody that you talk to says he’s going to be a top player. I like to see him on the right-hand side.”

As a result, he thinks that United could need him on the right wing but isn’t sure as to which club he would choose. Mariner is, however, confident that he will be a great player one day.

“So when you think about United, why do they need him on the right-hand side? It’s possible.

“But will he go to United or will he go to Real Madrid? I’m not quite sure. But this guy is going to be a hit. If he goes to United, he will still be a hit.”

#2 Solari rules out Marcelo move

Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari has quashed claims linking Marcelo to Juventus. The Argentine claimed that Marcelo is very important to the club, saying: “Marcelo is our second captain, 100 percent Madridista and we look for everyone’s best version.”

#1 Hazard’s decision

This one is a bomb from Spain as Eden Hazard has decided to snub Real Madrid and sign an extension with the Blues. He has apparently become fed up with the delay from Los Blancos in finishing talks for him and, as a result, has decided to stay at Chelsea.
