Capello has included a mixture of youth and experienced players, with U21 player Tom Cleverley making the cut. Goalkeeper David Stockdale, on loan at Ipswich from Fulham, has also been included.

Capello, who earlier praised United’s defensive duo of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones, has included both of them in his squad.

England are on top in Group G after having played 5 matches. They are equal on 11 points with Montenegro at the top but lead due to superior goal difference. England have already registered a 4-0 victory against Bulgaria at home and a 2-0 win against Wales at the Millennium Stadium.
