Diego Costa has had a bright start to his Premier League campaign this season scoring four goals in four games for the London club. Two of those four coming in the previous game against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

His side, Chelsea, is set to face Liverpool at Stamford Bridge this week in the Premier League, And the Reds will be confident of bagging all three points against Chelsea after impressive displays against Arsenal, Tottenham and the recent 4-1 annihilation defending champions Leicester City.

But Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be vary of the major goal scoring threat Diego Costa poses and will want 100% from his defenders in the game.

“World-class,” said Klopp when asked to describe the Spanish striker.

“If other supporters love you it’s not a good sign. He is a real warrior on the pitch. He uses his body all the time that is his quality and he was nearly unstoppable against Swansea. He could have been the man of the match. He is strong, no doubt.” the German was quoted by the Guardian.

Both the teams had earlier faced each other in a pre-season friendly in the United States where Liverpool lost the game and Fabregas saw red for a poor tackle on Red’s defender Ragnar Klavan.

Klopp also spoke of Chelsea’s Italian manager Antonio Conte who shares similar traits with the German both in terms of involvement and enthusiasm on the touchline.

"I don't know Antonio good enough to know why he is doing it - I know for myself and, as I've said a few times, it just happens to me," the Liverpool manager added.

"He looks quite emotional, even when they don't score. Obviously, he is involved in the game, but that's not the most important thing.”

‘The Pep Guardiola of Juventus’

The German also highlighted the common traits between Antonio Conte and Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola. "The very important thing is he is a great manager, something like the 'Pep Guardiola of Juventus' if you want.”

The Liverpool manager continued, "He created their special type of play and had a very successful time there and with the national team.”

Liverpool and Chelsea had some dramatic games at Stamford Bridge over the past couple of seasons. Klopp senses that the Italian will have something up his sleeve when Liverpool take to the pitch at the Bridge later this week.

"The problem is they maybe have the same plan.” Klopp also spoke about the how Chelsea would be looking to bounce back after last season. "They were champions two years ago and then had a difficult year and they changed their manager.

"Last season was not a Chelsea season and now they are back on track, so we need to be ready for a real challenge."

Liverpool has some good news in the form of Dejan Lovren as the defender will be available for the game later this week. Lovren had miss Liverpool’s last encounter with Leicester City as he suffered a black eye during a training ground accident. Emre Can is likely to miss out as he lacks match fitness.
