Chelsea v West Bromwich Albion - Premier League
West Brom are now seven points behind 17th placed Huddersfield

It was a well-deserved win for Antonio's Conte men tonight. It was very important for the Blues to bounce back from back-to-back losses and with Barcelona's tie coming up in the Champions League round of 16, the importance of this week cannot be stressed enough.

West Brom did have their chances in the game and they would be kicking themselves for not making the most of it. After an excellent linkup with Olivier Giroud, Eden Hazard gave Chelsea the lead in the 25th minute.

Victor Moses doubled the lead just a little over the hour-mark. Hazard scored another beautiful goal in the 71st minute and gave his team a well deserved three points!

Here are the player ratings from the game.

Hazard was back at his best tonight

Thibaut Courtois - 6/10

A decent performance by the Belgian tonight. He did really well to deny a clear goal scoring opportunity from Rondon and did well throughout the game.

Cesar Azpilicueta - 7/10

A solid performance by the player who was making his 250th appearance for the Blues tonight. He made a vital interception to stop the visitors from scoring an equaliser.

Andreas Christensen - 7/10

Coming back from an injury, the youngster looked calm and composed throughout the game. He was taken off in the 70th minute as a precautionary measure.

Antonio Rudiger - 7/10

The German had a great game tonight. He defended well and looked composed in the game.

Victor Moses - 6/10

It was not the best first half for Moses. He was lucky to get away with an awful defensive mistake. However, he scored a great goal in the second half.

N'Golo Kante - 7/10

As always, Kante bossed the midfield. He did well to cope with West Brom's midfielders and prevented their attempts of stringing a few passes together.

Cesc Fabregas - 6/10

A mixed game for the Spaniard. He left the Chelsea defence open but did provide the attacking threat that was expected from him.

Davide Zappacosta - 6/10

With Alonso out of the game due to an ankle injury that he picked up in training, Zappacosta started the game. Besides from running up and down the left-flank, he didn't provide much to the team.

Pedro - 6/10

He had the desire and the pace to change the game but wasn't really able to do so. He was subbed for Willian in the 80th minute.

Olivier Giroud - 7/10

A mixed home debut for the Frenchman. He linked up well with Hazard to assist him who opened the scoring the for the Blues. However, he had some poor touches in the game hence missing a couple of chances in the game.

Eden Hazard - 9/10

A solid game for the Belgian. He threatened now and then in the game and a superb linkup with Giroud set up Hazard's first goal. He also scored another beautiful goal in the second half.

Gary Cahill - 5/10

Coming on in the last 20 minutes, Cahill didn't have much to do in the game as the visitors hardly threatened Chelsea's defence.

Willian - 5/10

Coming on for the final 10 minutes, Willian tried to contribute to the game with a few deft touches but wasn't able to deliver a successful end product.

Alvaro Morata - 6/10

Making his first appearance in almost a month, the Spaniard had some good linkups and a couple of good shots on target.
