Hello and welcome to the Premier League transfer news and rumours of the day! Here are the top stories of the day surrounding the Premiership!

Dybala to move

FIFA agent Giovanni Branchini has claimed that Manchester United target Paulo Dybala is set to leave Juventus in the summer. The Argentine forward has been in the shadows this season after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer.

As a result, he has been linked with a move out of Turin and the Red Devils were one of the teams touted as a potential destination. And according to Branchini, the former Palermo star is not happy at Juventus and thinks a departure from Turin is possible.

“Dybala? Yes, I think his goodbye is possible this time. I don’t think he is happy and I don’t think Juve are happy this season,” Branchini said.

He then stated that a swap deal with Inter star Mauro Icardi is also on the cards.

“The exchange with Icardi is not a fantasy because everyone would have the chance to benefit from an exchange of this kind."

He then went on to speak about another player wanted in the Premier League: James Rodriguez. Branchini thinks that the Colombian could come to Italy as he would be a great player in the Serie A.

“James Rodriguez? He could come to Italy. A player like him would be useful for everyone, to all those who want an attacking midfielder or second striker of great quality."

Finally, he spoke about Lorenzo Insigne, who was recently linked to Liverpool. He stated that the forward could leave Napoli and be replaced by Diego Costa.

“Insigne to leave Napoli? Probably yes. For Napoli, it is essential that Koulibaly remains and if Insigne leaves, an important player could arrive, like Diego Costa.”

Barella could have joined Chelsea

In the January transfer window, Chelsea were linked with a plethora of midfielders and one among the many names was Nicolo Barella. The midfielder, valued at €50 million, was reportedly very close to joining Chelsea in the winter window and Blues assistant manager Gianfranco Zola confirmed that.

Zola stated that Barella was very close to joining the Blues as Maurizio Sarri is a huge fan of the player but the deal fell through in the end.

“Very. He’s good and Sarri has always liked him, but things fell through,” he was quoted as saying.

Chelsea ended up signing no real backup for Jorginho in the end as their only notable signing in the winter was Christian Pulisic, who was loaned back to Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season.

With a transfer ban for the next two windows impending, things are only going to get harder for them.

Despite the fact that the Etihad outfit spent around £150 million to sign full-backs in the summer transfer window of 2017, Guardiola was reportedly looking to sign a left-back in January.

While they couldn’t sign one in the winter market, speculation about signing a left-back in the summer was on the rise. However, reports claim that Guardiola has scrapped the plan due to the emergence of Oleksandr Zinchenko.

The Ukrainian has been in good form and has seemingly impressed the former Barcelona manager. So much that he has canceled the plans to sign Ben Chillwell in the summer.

Meanwhile, reports claim Arsenal might pull off another Sol Campbell in the summer as Toby Alderweireld is available for only £25 million due to a release clause in his contract.

The Belgian has been linked with a plethora of clubs and it would be difficult for Arsenal to pull off such a deal.

Manchester United want to sign Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi according to Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague. The youngster has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich but it seems like the Red Devils are also interested.

Balague claims that the Red Devils want to pry the best players away from the top six and also added that defenders are not entirely the main priority for the Old Trafford outfit as they need good players in almost every area.

“What I’m hearing is they want to get players, the best players, of the Premier League away from the top six,” he said.

“And they want young [players] as well. Yes, they’re interested in [Callum] Hudson-Odoi, but not just him.

“Centre-backs are not a priority, it seems, but I think they will get at least one. They just need quality throughout the side.”

Manchester madness is back where it belongs – at the top, the main page of the transfer roundup. The Manchester outfit are set to have a big summer as they are in need of a massive renovation.

And today, the claim from Spain is that Manchester United are interested in signing PSG forward Edinson Cavani. The forward was linked with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea are also in the mix for the Uruguayan, who could be signed as long as PSG are paid €60 million in transfer fees while also awarding the forward a contract worth €14 million-per-year.

Meanwhile, there are more claims from Spain today as Christian Eriksen has reportedly verbally agreed upon a deal with Real Madrid to play for them next season. The only thing remaining now is to deal with Daniel Levy, which is going to be a very complex thing to do.
