#3 Ruben Dias (Portugal)

Ruben Dias won Premier League Player of the Year Award in his first season with Manchester City. He had an incredible season in the English top-flight and was one of the standout performers for Pep Guardiola's side this past season.

However, he has not been able to carry that form into Euro 2020. The Portuguese defence has been leaky and they have conceded six goals in three games so far. Portugal failed to dominate possession in their games against Germany and France and Dias did not fare well when faced with relentless pressure.

He scored an own goal in the game against Germany and seemed stripped off confidence from there on. The 24-year-old has not been able to strike a good partnership with the veteran Pepe. Portugal manager Fernando Santos will be hoping that he returns to form soon.

#2 Bruno Fernandes (Portugal)

Bruno Fernandes is yet another player who has had an excellent season at club level but has struggled at Euro 2020. The Manchester United midfielder has been unable to replicate his form from the 2020-21 season and Portugal have struggled to break down opposition defences as a result.

Fernandes has been accused of going missing in the first two games against Hungary and Germany. He wasn't able to assert himself and it seems like fatigue is catching up with the 26-year-old.

Bruno Fernandes has played the most number of games for club and country among players in Europe's top five leagues in 2020-21. He has played 70 matches and is third on the list of most minutes played (5455).

He played a few delightful balls in the first two games but was largely absent from the midfield battle and has failed to make an impact.

Fernandes was dropped from the starting lineup in the final group stage game against France. It remains to be seen whether he will be brought back for the Round of 16 match against Belgium.

#1 Harry Kane (England)

Harry Kane ended the 2020-21 Premier League season as the top scorer and the top assist maker. Kane was expected to tear it up at Euro 2020 as one of the most experienced players in the England squad but he hasn't done anything of note yet.

Kane has now gone three games without scoring a goal. He has also been unable to convert his chances and failed to register a single shot on target in England's first two games against Croatia and Scotland.

Kane will need to up his output and lead from the front as England will have their work cut out for them against Germany in the Round of 16.
