Fantasy Premier League 2017-18: Players to pick for Gameweek 6

Enter
With several players finding form, gameweek 6 of the Fantasy Premier League is going to be a cracker!

Defenders

4. Sead Kolasinac(Arsenal) - Long Term

Arsenal v Leicester City - Premier League
The Bosnian has been a tank on the field

The new signing has settled really well with the team and it seems that Kolasinac's arrival in the team has strengthened the Gunners.

The player constantly bombs forwards and gets at the end of several goal-scoring opportunities.

His physique makes his on-field presence all the more imposing and the player has definitely rewarded us with attacking returns in the form of 2 assists.

The player also seems to be someone who could be a potential bonus points magnet.

Arsenal's next game is against the Baggies who have shown their defensive prowess but are not quite the same when it comes to going forward.

West Brom have scored a paltry 4 goals till now and will find it difficult to breach the Arsenal backline which is now becoming stable.

The Gunners have great fixtures coming their way and investing in Kolasinac seems to be the right decision.

3. Phil Jones(Manchester United) - Long Term

Manchester United v Everton - Premier League
The United backline has shown great composure till now

The English defender has been a starter for the club despite the various injury issues that surround him and the acquisition of high-profile defender Victor Lindelof.

At £5.1, he is the most cost-effective way to get into United's backline. The fact that he is always a major contender for Bonus Points makes him a strong choice.

United's game against Southampton should not be a big bother defensively as their opponents have scored 4 goals, 3 of which came in a single game.

Managers could also gamble on doubling up on United defenders, however, such a strategy could be risky as well.

2. Ben Davies(Tottenham Hotspur) - Long Term

Everton v Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League
Davies has the ability to get you offensive returns as well as cleansheet points

It was disheartening for several managers the last gameweek as full-back Ben Davies was confined to the bench due to a knock that he suffered in the previous game.

However, the player should be up and running once again. Davies has been the most threatening defender in the game with 1 goal and 2 assists to his name.

The fullback is also on corner duties which increases his potential for offensive returns. His stock has been rising rapidly, and managers should be quick to get him before any further price change.

Tottenham visit West Ham United this gameweek, in a match that is extremely important for both the teams.

The Lilywhites just dropped 2 points against Swansea and will want to win this to ensure that they're within hunting distance of the top teams, whereas West Ham have just won once till now.

There is a strong chance that Spurs tight defence will be able to ward off West Ham's attack which has scored 4 goals in 5 league games.
