Fantasy Premier League: The 5 differential picks for Gameweek 29

Manchester United v Chelsea - Premier League
Lukaku in action last week against Chelsea

We are into the final stretch of the season and this has been a season that FPL managers will never forget.

There are many high scoring players and differential choices to pick from and the selection headache continues into gameweek 29 where there are some tasty fixtures on the table.

Let's look at the five players who are worth a punt to boost up your rankings, especially in mini-leagues.

#5 Romelu Lukaku vs Crystal Palace (A)

It has been a roller coaster year for Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian was among the highest selected players in the game but has now seen his ownership reduce to 19.9%. He has scored 13 times this term and has 6 assists to his name.

Manchester United and Lukaku head into the game in high spirits after beating Chelsea last weekend when Lukaku scored 12 points. He will be looking to continue his form into the clash against Palace, who have just won once in their last 6 home games.

#4 Sadio Mane vs Newcastle (H)

Liverpool v West Ham United - Premier League
Mane can prove to be a huge differential this week

Liverpool's attack has been one of the best in Europe this season and although their go-to man has been Mohammed Salah, Mane can prove to be a brilliant differential pick this week.

He is in great form going into this clash after as he scored a hattrick against Porto in the Champions league and followed it up with a goal against West Ham last week. The Liverpool attack will be at their best on Saturday and Mane can help you climb up the rankings.

#3 Andrew Robertson vs Newcastle (H)

Huddersfield Town v Liverpool - Premier League
Robertson has cemented his place in the Liverpool line-up

Signed from Hull City in 2017, a string of good performances has seen Robertson cement his place at left-back. He has started all but one of their last 14 league games and offers value at £4.8m.

He will be part of the Liverpool defence that will look to get a clean sheet at home to Newcastle and can also be involved in goals, just as he was last week when he grabbed an assist vs West Ham. He is selected by a mere 5.3%.

#2 Xherdan Shaqiri vs Southampton (A)

Leicester City v Stoke City - Premier League
Shaqiri has lifted Stoke City

Shaqiri has given Stoke City fresh hopes of survival as he has been in tremendous form recently.

In the last three games, the winger has scored three goals and has 27 points including 7 bonus points. Stoke are desperate to climb out of the relegation zone and Shaqiri will want to continue his hot streak.

Owned by only 11.6% managers, he can prove to be the difference against The Saints this week who have only one win in their last fifteen games.

#1 Riyad Mahrez vs Bournemouth (H)

Leicester City v Sheffield United - The Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round
Riyadh Mahrez has been in good form of late

The Algerian leads the creative force at Leicester and has amassed 24 points in his last 3 home games and is owned only by 8.6% managers.

Although he blanked against Stoke City last time out, there were chances in that game which you would expect him to finish off.

He now faces a visit from struggling Bournemouth, who have kept only 1 clean sheet in the last 15 games and conceded four times in their last away match to Huddersfield. You'd expect Leicester to score and Mahrez should be involved if they do.
