Fantasy Premier League tips: Captain choices for Gameweek 7

Harry Kane

Selecting the captain has always been a dilemma for many FPL managers because your captain choice can be the difference between a bad week and a good week.

Well, here 5 choices for the Captain for Matchweek 7:

Harry Kane (£12.5m, Tottenham Hotspur)

Tottenham and away games are going to be the love story of this season. Kane has scored 4 goals in 2 away games this month since his August dry spell and is coming off a hattrick in the Champions League.

With his creator-in-chief -- Christian Eriksen -- also back in contention for the match, watch out for Kane. So captain him up for a good haul this weekend.

Romelu Lukaku (£11.7m, Manchester United)

The Goal Machine is in fine form and scored two goals against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday. This Weekend, he faces a winless and hapless Crystal Palace side.

Palace are like a punching bag right for all Premier League teams right now and with United back to their old clinical self, it does not seem like they stand a chance against the Belgian. He is one of the safest captain choices at the moment.

Mo Salah (£9.1m, Liverpool)

Liverpool FC v Sevilla FC - UEFA Champions League

The Egyptian speedster has left everybody in awe with his goalscoring ability this season. He's already scored 4 goals and looks hungry for more. The introduction of Coutinho has not hampered his production.

Newcastle will be wary of Salah when he visits them on Sunday but so have many teams in the past few weeks and nobody has come close to stopping him.

Expect the Salah train to speed away to the goal this weekend.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan (£8.4m, Manchester United)

The Armenian has had the Premier League on its feet with his display this season. With 5 assists in 6 games you cant ask for more and with a favourable matchup this week against the bottom lying Crystal Palace.

Mkhi can be a solid captain option this week against a leaky defence. He will mostly deliver points in the form of assists and maybe a goal, if Lukaku permits.

Alexandre Lacazette (£10.3m, Arsenal)

Arsenal v West Bromwich Albion - Premier League

He was expected deliver and score a lot of goals after his big money arrival and it's fair to say he has started pretty well. His 2-goal performance against West Brom last weekend was a testament to that.

This weekend, he faces new boys Brighton at the Emirates, with Arsenal slowly coming back to their usual self, expect Lacazette to be their leader in offence.

Christian Eriksen (£9.7m, Tottenham Hotspur)

Spurs have had a bad run of results at their adopted home in Wembley and lot of it is presumably because Eriksen has failed to consistently perform at Wembley. But his away form has been fiery, to say the least.

He has scored and assisted 2 in 3 away games this season. He also has a knack of collecting BONUS POINTS with 7 BP in 6 games. This week Spurs travel to the John Smith's stadium to face new boys Huddersfield. Expect Eriksen to continue his good away form this week too.
