Fantasy Premier League: Top 5 differential picks for Gameweek 32

Gameweek 32 is here!
Gameweek 32 is here!

The international break is over and after a fortnight, league action returns this week. It's matchday 32 and we are into the final stretch of the season. For fantasy managers, gameweek 32 arrives with its own dilemmas.

For those who played their 'Free Hit' chip in Gameweek 31, and have no chips or wildcard available, it will be a nightmare as we are set to have two double gameweeks this season, one being confirmed on Gameweek 34.

Luckiest are those who have their free hit and bench boost intact as well as a wildcard available as they can score the maximum in the coming weeks and climb up the rankings.

On that note, here is a look at 5 players who are owned only by a few managers and are likely to give big returns this week:

#5 Junior Stanislas vs Watford (A)

AFC Bournemouth v Burnley - Premier League
Stanislas is a man in form

Junior Stanislas is a player who comes to life all of a sudden and enjoys a quick run of games in which he gives huge returns. Luckily, he is enjoying quite a bit of form coming into gameweek 32.

The player has 5 goals and 3 assists this campaign and has scored 2 goals in his last two matches. He is often deployed on the left-wing and is often the furthest forward of all midfielders. Further, the player is also on penalty duty, which could just bless him with extra points. While forwards Callum Wilson and Joshua King are often rotated, Stanislas is a sure starter for The Cherries.

Bournemouth travel to Watford, who are not the strongest of teams defensively, and they will want to build momentum heading into the end of season and Stanislas can be a very attractive option for fantasy managers. He also plays twice in gameweek 34, and is owned by only 2.1% managers.

#4 Willian vs Tottenham Hotspur (H)

Chelsea v Crystal Palace - Premier League
Willian is a must!

Willian has been outstanding since the turn of the year and has been outshining his compatriot Eden Hazard. Willian was my no.2 differential pick for Gameweek 30 in which he scored 10 points. The Brazilian is still owned only by 12.7% managers.

A fiery North London derby awaits us this week and it is without question the most important match for both clubs. Willian comes into the fixture with 21 points in his last three games and he has been Chelsea's best player of late.

Additionally, he is also on set-piece duty and will be quite a handful to contain when in form. It is a fixture that Chelsea simply must not lose if they want to finish in the top-4 and will be banking on Willian to provide the returns.

#3 Paul Pogba vs Swansea (H)

Swansea City v Manchester United - Premier League
Pogba scored 15 points in the reverse fixture

Pogba got off to a great start this season when he scored 31 points in the first four weeks. The midfielder then suffered an injury that kept him out for a good part of three months and has been a shadow of himself ever since.

It goes without saying that whenever he has been let off the shackles and given the attacking freedom, he has provided returns. United played a back three at Emirates when Pogba was given a free role and he racked up 2 assists. He played in a midfield three against Everton and returned 12 points as well.

Jose Mourinho is likely to employ a midfield trio this week, and we can expect Pogba to cause mayhem. He scored 15 points in the reverse fixture and got a goal and an assist in France's victory over Russia in the friendly mid-week.

He is owned by just 10.5% of all Fantasy Premier League managers, and Manchester United will play two double gameweeks before the end of the season, meaning Pogba is bound to pick up points.

#2 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang vs Stoke City (H)

Arsenal v Watford - Premier League
Aubameyang has settled in well

Aubameyang's transfer to Arsenal in January was a breath of fresh air for the club, and the forward has made a good start at the London club. He was also included in my differential list for Gameweek 30 and he stays there. Only 9.1% managers own him.

The Gabon international has 26 points in 5 gameweeks which is a decent return and he has also scored in back-to-back games heading into the fixture. Arsenal are set to welcome Stoke City to the Emirates and will be looking to go exert their superiority.

The player has also linked up well with former teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan and will be looking to add to his tally.

Stoke have kept just one clean sheet in their last 6 games and Arsenal are almost certain to score when they play at the Emirates and we can expect Aubameyang to be involved in the mix. Notably, he has a double gameweek coming up and also plays in reduced gameweek 35 - a week where a number of clubs will miss out.

#1 Riyad Mahrez vs Brighton (A)

Leicester City v Chelsea - The Emirates FA Cup Quarter Final
Mahrez again!

For the third consecutive gameweek, Riyad Mahrez is my no.1 differential target. It is almost a crime that he is still owned by only 11.3% managers when he is enjoying so much form at the moment.

The Algerian has put his head down and worked hard after the Manchester City fiasco, which has bode well for Leicester as well as for us, fantasy managers. He has 10 goals and 11 assists this season and has scored 21 points in his last two outings.

Next up, he faces a Brighton side who have kept only 1 clean sheet in their last 11 games and surely, Leicester will be banking on Mahrez to score this week. Leicester play twice in gameweek 34 and another double gameweek is also on the horizon.
